Eng306 Advanced Academic English II (021) (ECTS:3)

Students who have successfully completed Eng 305 move into a more
personally enriching and academically demanding instruction in Eng 306, a
student-centered and skilled-based academic language course. The Eng 306
course has been designed to provide students with the necessary language
skills to develop and critique their own research articles , as well as
to critique the works written by leading scholars in their fields of
study. Throughout the course, emphasis is given to adequate argument and
counter-argument generation in written work, requiring advanced level of
critical text analysis, research, and document design. The tasks
performed as part of the course will mirror the tasks students will be
expected to do in their faculty classes.
